This site is designed to create a change in everyone and for people to be more conscious about the actions they take in everyday life. Developed countries are the main countries that create the most pollution to satisfy their leisurely and gluttonous lifestyle. Lets face it, most Americans are lazy, greedy, money-hungry, and for the most part, out for themselves and could care less about how their lifestyle makes an impact on the earth and the individuals around them as long as they continue to stay "comfortable." As a result of our gluttonous lifestyle as Americans, it is drastically effecting the earth. It's not just us Americans, every developed country is participating in the exponential decay of earth's vital functions and natures downfall. I have even noticed changes in my local town within North Carolina. Forrest fires are rare around here and for the month of June, smoke has filled the air and directly effected my health. A few months ago, a tornado struck the nearby city of Suffolk, Virginia. Virginia is not a notorious place for tornado's to occur. The main function of hurricanes are to cool down the earth. This is why they happen near the end of summer. The warmer earth gets, the stronger hurricanes will get to offset the increased temperature (ex: Hurricane Katrina). In 2005, the Amazon river dried up in many areas. The Amazon river-one of the largest rivers systems in the world! Anyone can drastically make a difference by cutting a few things out of their daily life. For every action, there is a reaction and everyone needs to make a change now. A little change is better than no change. On this site, I will have many tips and ideas for supporting a greener neighborhood, a greener community, and a greener world.
